Banshee – Cinemax

Just when you thought the tension and excitement of one of television’s most addictive series could not get any higher an all new batch of episodes has been ordered and with them come incredible casting chances for several aspiring actors. Banshee, the Cinemax original production that has truly broken the mold of traditional crime drama series, is gearing up for an all new season and casting calls for several roles will be held very soon.

Banshee tells the riveting story of an ex-con on the run from a dangerous crime boss who decides to lay low in the small town of Banshee, located in Pennsylvania Amish country. The man quickly assumes the identity of a murdered police officer named Lucas Hood and takes over the role of the town’s sheriff. This lofty new position allows him the opportunity to continue his criminal ways with his former partners. As Hood struggles with his new identity, the local crime boss and new and old loves, audiences the world over have become more and more enchanted with this Cinemax classic.

In addition to it’s absorbing storylines, Banshee also features a wonderfully gifted ensemble cast led by Antony Starr (Wish You Were Here, The World’s Fastest Indian, Without a Paddle), Rus Blackwell (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, Trouble with the Curve, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Ivana Milicevic (Casino Royale, Enemy of the State, Pushing Daisies), Lili Simmons (True Detective, Geek Charming, Bone Tomahawk), Ulrich Thomsen (Mortdecai, The Thing, The Miracle) and Frankie Faison (The Good Wife, The Silence of the Lambs, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist).
