“Vonelle” is about a black transsexual woman who tries to come between a young couple in love.

What They Are Looking For

Seeking a black trans woman aged 40’s-50’s to play Vonelle. Vonelle is described as “confident, sassy, straight-forward, glamourous”. She is a hairstylist, so if you have previous hairstyling experience then please submit, but not necessary.

Non-union talent only.

Will be filming in: Brickell, Key Biscayne, and South Miami, Florida. Filming dates TBD.

Role is unpaid; however meals/copy/credit/expenses paid.

Please submit a short video describing who you are as a person, your accomplishments in your field(s), etc. Please open the video saying the line “My name is Vonelle and I didn’t mean to do it.” This is the opening line in the film and will set the tone for viewers of the rest of the project. Casting Asian/American Females for Paid Short Film Shoot

There is a new casting call for a short film that will be shooting in the New York City area.  Short films are a great way to gain experience, hone your craft, build your reel and get your face out to the world.  Short films are typically films that are less than forty minutes long so they are not long enough to be considered a feature length film.  Villa House pictures is looking for a female to be in their latest project.

About The Short Film

The film will be shooting during a period of 4 nights in New York City.  The shoot dates are not yet finalized but the tentative shoot dates are April 15th-19th (to be confirmed)

Looking For Females

The short film seeks someone to play an Asian/American athlete for hero female role.  Actresses should be between the ages of 18-32 with an athletic background (competitive and/or hobby running preferred)This is a paid shoot.

We are shooting a short film for a new dating app.

About:

The short film features couples enjoying coffee while sitting in a coffee shop.  The main couple is on a date, flirting and having a good time while sitting in a cozy atmosphere.  The goal of the short film is to draw on the comfortable atmosphere and make the audience feel how the date is not awkward or unnatural.  We want to make it known that our app brings compatible people together.

In a world filled with social media and apps, it is hard to stay off your phone and enjoy the actual company of the people you are with.  We want to show what it’s like to combine the use of an app with the beauty of spending time with someone that may become very important to you.  Our app will help someone find a date on your phone, and then bring those people together naturally.  We want to stress being comfortable with the person you may find on our app, so we are looking for an outgoing but welcoming male to play the role.

We are looking for a male actor, should be between 20-35.

Shooting location is Brooklyn, NY shoot time will be about 4-5 hours.
